Shaun McKenna to promote growth of AWD’s comprehensive BPM solution in Australia and New Zealand
DST Global Solutions has appointed Shaun McKenna as Regional Head of its AWD business in Australia and New Zealand. Mr McKenna will be responsible for promoting the AWD application which provides clients with a comprehensive and customisable BPM solution to manage day-to-day and complex transaction processes and customer service.
Mr McKenna has over 10 years’ experience in the workflow and BPM marketplace, helping customers around the globe achieve their business goals. At DST Global Solutions Mr McKenna will focus on the superannuation, insurance, wealth management, banking and asset management sectors in Australia and New Zealand, helping companies in these industries to maximise the efficiency of their operational processes to enable organisational transformation.
Tony Armour, Managing Director for DST's international AWD business said, "Shaun's appointment is another significant step in the growth of our business; in Australia and globally. AWD helps deliver business value, rapid return on investment and business agility. These are vital qualities in today's world and recognition that AWD supports them is now helping to drive growth in our business".
“The 2010 Cooper Review into the governance, efficiency, structure and operation of Australia’s superannuation system highlighted the inefficiencies in the industry, with savings available estimated at up to $1billion per annum,” said Philip Hogan, Regional Head – Australia and New Zealand for DST Global Solutions. “These issues are not limited to the super industry but are common to many companies in the financial services sector in Australia and New Zealand. At DST Global Solutions we are addressing these problems by enhancing AWD.”
“AWD helps clients with multiple lines of business become more efficient and standardise service delivery,” said Mr McKenna. “AWD brings real benefits, particularly across multiple offices and distribution channels. The AWD BPM solution helps improve organisational efficiency, lower operating costs, maintain regulatory compliance, increase customer satisfaction, reduce paper management and storage costs and deliver a platform for continuous process improvement.”
“By optimising operations and eliminating inefficiencies, our AWD BPM application helps give our clients a competitive advantage,” he concluded.
Previously, Mr McKenna was employed in senior sales and management roles with IntraLinks, Software AG, Global360 and Autonomy. He has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Business Information Technology from Southampton Institute (Southampton Solent University).
