Supporting a wide range of platforms and with proven security technologies, AWD is designed to integrate with the backbone systems that drive your operations.
Architecture
AWD is delivered as a JEE application for deployment onto an appropriate JEE Application Server. The code is written to JEE standards in order to support a wide range of platforms. As a JEE application, AWD supports a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Tested configurations include IBM WebSphere and Red Hat JBOSS.
Supported databases include Oracle, SQL Server and DB/2.
Integration
Using a Java-based, platform-independent technology and SML data constructs, our service-oriented architecture makes it easy to integrate with legacy systems as well as service-based applications.
Integration to AWD can be requested via exposed Web Services through HTTPS while outbound integration from AWD is performed through the Orchestration design framework through the calling of external web services etc.
For backward compatibility AWD offers an extensive list of pre-built technology adapters. (e.g. SOAP via Web Services, RMI using JNDI, EJB, JMS, TCP/IP, JDBC, ODBC, HTTP/HTTPS, File and EDI).
